Seatown Story Collective gets ready for TEDx drafts
bring a laptop to class 3 and let the Rule of Thirds be our guide
Hi Seatown students and families,
Last Saturday Mr. Hunter and I shared our TED talks (😳🫣😁), we sharpened our audience-centered throughlines, and unpacked how the photography trick of the Rule of Thirds can guide us in our TEDx talk planning.
💻 For class this weekend, Sat, March 16, please bring a laptop/device for word processing and research. 💻
👉🏿👉🏼👉🏾TO PREP FOR THIS SATURDAY’S CLASS, HERE’S YOUR NEXT ACTION STEPS REMINDER: Before this Friday, March 15 at 5:00pm, please go to our Google Drive and upload at least one (or all three!) of the following:
a stat related to your talk’s throughline (with linked citation)
a summary of a personal story related to your talk’s throughline (yours or maybe a true story you found in the news? include linked citation if it’s someone else’s story)
a photo (ideally one you took yourself) related to your talk’s throughline - if you are not the photographer, please include the photographer’s name
